The public URL and customer channel can vary, but menu publication, customer identity, carts, orders, checkout, and Partner operations remain Plenty-owned. A WordPress installation or Branded Restaurant App is a connected surface, not a separate live database.
FAQ
What about the legacy order.ricepaper.app address?
It remains only as a compatibility hosted page while stored links and installed integrations are upgraded. Current Plenty hosted-order links use order.runplenty.com; restaurant-owned domains remain supported.
Can a restaurant have more than one connection?
The architecture supports multiple connected surfaces when they are deliberately configured for the same workspace.
Is the Branded Restaurant App another setup mode?
No. It is an included customer channel connected to the restaurant workspace and primary Site Connection, regardless of whether the web route is hosted, embedded, WordPress, Plenty CMS, or custom.
